I am currently building six-string acoustic guitars in four different body styles as listed below. Depending on the body style, details of construction, and amount of ornamentation, the prices vary somewhat. Please see the details on the datasheet for each guitar that I have for sale. If you have any further questions, please give me a call.
000-12: Smaller body size that has the neck attached to the body at the 12th fret from the nut. It has a very nice sound and can be played fingerstyle or with a pick. This is the size of the guitar that Willie Nelson plays. I can make this guitar in both a standard or cut-away shape.
OM/000: This body style, called the Orchestra Model, is slightly larger than the 000-12, but is well suited to both fingerpicking and pick playing. The difference in the designation is that the OM is built with a 25.4-inch scale length while the 000 has a 24.9-inch scale length. Both of these guitars are made with the neck connecting to the body at the 14th fret. Standard and cut-away shapes are available.
GP: Called the Grand Performance, this is slightly wider and deeper than the OM and due to the increased volume, has a larger sound. It features a 25.4-inch scale length and the neck joins the body at the 14th fret. I can make it in either standard or cut-away configurations.
Dreadnaught: One of the most popular models of all time, this body shape is big and deep. It has lots of bass and has a full, rich sound. It is available in a 12 fret or 14 fret attachment to the body. Both have a 25.4-inch scale length.
Note: All of these guitars have differing dimensions, depending on the model, scale length, body attachment, and some other factors. Please look at the datasheet for each guitar I have for sale to see the exact details for that guitar.
