Care And Maintenance

John Gorrell Guitars are made in a climate-controlled shop at 48% relative humidity. All of the individual components are stored and made at this humidity, resulting in a very stable guitar at the end of construction and finishing.

The finish is several coats of conventional lacquer that is polished to a mirror finish after a curing period of several weeks.

In order to keep your guitar in top condition, please do not expose it to extremes in temperature or humidity. Keep it on a stand or in its case in a controlled environment. Wipe off fingerprints or smudges with a soft cloth.

The truss rod is accessible by removing the cover on the headstock. Please have any adjustments made by a knowledgeable person.
